"The Times They Are A-Changin'", Track #10

CHRIS STONE: this is another song where the music is from an old folk song same with masters of war, bob dylans dream and a hard rain is going to fall. i have it on a sinnead oconner record but dont know the tile (01/02/10)

RAMBLISHOES: I love this song too as comment above. The Frank Sinatra performance can be found on youtube. (01/02/09)

DAVID DIXON: This is a simple folk song. A young Dylan wrote it, sounding old. He has performed it very few times in public-less than ten. But do what you can to find a CD or DVD containing Bob's performance of the song at Frank Sinatra's 80th birthday part. He was singing it right to Frank, with all the intensity, sincerity, and vocal quality he could give. It is a lovely, lovely performance, full of the age and weariness that the lyrics had suggested 30 years earlier. It's a largely forgotten song, but his performances of it are rich indeed.
