Bob Dylan: "Brownsville Girl" from the album "Knocked Out Loaded", 19867 comments on "Brownsville Girl"![]() "Knocked Out Loaded", Track #6 SHERIFF BROWN: Remember buying this album when it came out and this epic song is true cinematic Dylan, great vocals, great song. (05/19/11) RODIMUS PRIME: love the line "people don't do what they believe in, they do whats convenient and then they repent" so cynical, and so true. (02/09/11) LITTLEBOYLOST: love the line: "Well I'm standing in line in the rain to see a movie starring Gregory Peck" (04/05/09) SLUMDOG: This album is the biggest pile if shite Dylan has done alongside "Self Portrait" and the compilation of other shite "DYLAN". (02/17/09) CBMAN: Fantastic story song that far and away outclasses everything else on the album. Sam Shepard deserves his due as well. (12/20/08) BURRITOBROTHER: My all-time favorite Dylan track. From my favorite Dylan album as well, I know it's not a popular opinion but it is mine. (01/13/08) RAILROADGIN: Another amazing epic song that only Dylan could write. I think this song is about how life imitates art or vise versa. Many great lines such as "strange how people who suffer together have stronger connections than those who are most content" (12/23/07) |
